What is cerbera odollam?

Cerbera odollam, also known as the Suicide Tree or Pong-pong, is a plant species native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia. The tree is known for its poisonous seeds which contain potent toxins known as cerberin and cerberin A. These toxins can cause severe cardiac toxicity and are known to be used for committing suicide in some parts of Asia.
